Spinach

I have tried to cook spinach. Boiled from frozen cubes. This is not the way to do it. It tastes of metal. Popeye used to eat spinach. When he needed to of course. But his came out of a can, so must have tasted of metal aswell. Clearly he was not doing it the right way either. But it gave him supernatural strength so this must have outweighed any taste disadvantages.

However my sister has shown me the way to do it. If you fry it with some garlic and oil it suddenly becomes a tour de force. If only I knew how to cook every other vegetable.

But I have been thinking: instead of eating I could just pop vitamin tablets – could this be a way to live without food? I don’t know. But if I get as strong as Popeye on spinach that’ll be a start.
