Wot has happened to Englishe?

English started off badly spelt and confusing because people were illiterate for the most part and there were many dialects in speaking and spelling. Then they finally got their act together and nationalized it, making everyone speak the same language. Afterwards people spelt correctly or were deemed stupid. Now however people spell wrong on purpose. I can understand a good acronym but I hope we don’t go around speaking out loud in initials: ‘LOL BTW OMG’ would really grate on my nerves. As long as you speak in words I think it's fine. Even Cockney is okay, even though only those people who speak the same language will understand you. This is good however for secret codes and talking behind people's backs. There will always be stereotypes about you. Just as long as language is used for what it is supposed to do. Communicate. Should we learn loads of languages to understand everybody? Or just have one global language? I'm all for diversity and the tower of babel but the way forward is just for everybody to speak English. Then everybody will understand my website. And the Bible. And the Koran. And each other. Maybe this will give us peace. Maybe not. But I'd like everybody to be understood.

Moreover Englishe has gone from spelling and pronouncing words wrong out of ignorance, to doing it on purpose. Pretty soon we will be speaking without proper verbs, sentence structure or nouns. It will be gibberish. But if everyone gets it I suppose it'll be a decent language.
