Horror Movies

I have recently acquired a new channel on my telly – the ‘Horror’ channel. I remember from the days of Hellraiser they are an amusing genre, especially when they include plenty of exploding heads and nails shooting about everywhere. It is quite unsettling that people (including me) like gore and death but if you don’t get too serious about it all, watching monsters and crazed farmers with pitchforks can be an evening well spent.

I’ve never read a horror book, but authors like Stephen King are supposed to be great so I might give it a go. I don’t know what it would be like but I’m quite eager to find out. I’m not too sure what would happen if it did scare me rather than just amuse me. I’m hoping I won’t have to go to A&E.
